IMPROVING THE SAFETY OF OVESIZE LOAD TRANSPORT ON THE MOTORWAY ON CORRIDOR Vc

ABSTRACT: Overload transport is a type of transport that is permitted only for indivisible loads. This type of transport is regulated by law and is carried out in accordance with the conditions given in the special approval of the road authority. However, in practice, illegal transportation, or transport for which no special approval has been issued, occurs on the roads. Such loads are transported without proper legal definition of a traffic elaborat that includes the necessary static of bridges, viaducts and other objects. By introducing the ITS (Intelligent Transport Systems), it is possible to install a vehicle height measurement system. The first such system was designed and installed on sections Zenica South - Lašva, where the designer selected the principle of measuring the height of the vehicle directly in front of the tunnel 1.Mart. In practice, it has been shown that such a system is not able to prevent the entry of high vehicles into the tunnel, resulting in several traffic accidents with greater material damage. The improvement of this system was carried out on the section Sarajevo west - Tarčin where the vehicle height measuring system was installed in front of tolls with the aim of preventing the entry of high-speed vehicles on the highway.

 


SAŽETAK: Izvanredni prijevoz je vrsta prijevoza koja je dozvoljena samo za nedjeljive terete. Ovakva vrsta prijevoza je regulisana zakonskom regulativom i obavlja se u skladu sa uvjetima datim u posebnom odobrenju upravitelja. Međutim, u praksi se dešava da se na cestama odvijaju nelegalni izvanredni prijevozi, odnosno prijevozi za koje nije izdato posebno odobrenje. Ovakvi tereti se prijevoze bez odgovarajućeg zakonski definisanog saobraćajnog elaborata koji uključuju neophodnu statiku mostova, vijadukata i drugih propusta. Uvođenjem ITS-a (Inteligentnih Transportnih Sistema), moguće je instalisati sustav za mjerenje visine vozila. Prvi ovakav sustav je isprojektovan i ugrađen na dionici Zenica jug – Lašva, gdje je projektant odabrao princip mjerenja visine vozila neposredno ispred tunela 1.mart. U praksi se pokazalo da ovakav sustav nije u stanju da spriječi ulazak previsokog vozila u tunel, što je rezultiralo sa nekoliko saobraćajnih nezgoda sa većom materijalnom štetom. Poboljšanje ovog sustava je izvedeno na dionici Sarajevo zapad – Tarčin gdje je sustav za mjerenje visine vozila instaliran ispred naplatnih mjesta sa ciljem sprječavanja ulaska previsokih vozila na autocestu.
