PERSPECTIVE FOR DEVELOPMENT OF THE TRANSPORT AND THE COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS IN THE CENTRAL BOSNIAN CANTON

ABSTRACT: The development of transport infrastructure in the Central Bosnian Canton should be considered in the context of realizing the “Strategy of transport in Bosnia and Herzegovina” adopted in 2016. With this document, new guidelines were given in terms of enhancing all means of transport and communication in the entire country until 2030. Considering it’s strategic, economic and traffic position in the country, the Central Bosnian Canton plays a very important role in the exchange of natural resources, people and communication on the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and wider. The historical importance of the Central Bosnian region in constructing roads for the connection of eastern and western parts of Europe from the Ottoman Empire, then throughout the government of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy has left a trace and certain resources in the valleys of rivers Lašva and Vrbas and are still, to this day, used in various ways. All of those ideas and perspectives ought to be incorporated into modern needs and means of communication and transporting goods and people. In collaboration with the “Strategy of transport in Bosnia and Herzegovina” it is necessary to develop local and regional plans which are to be converted into valid documentation that can be of use to Investors.

 


SAŽETAK: Razvoj transportne infrastrukture u SBK se treba posmatrati u kontekstu realizacije Strategije transporta BiH usvojene 2016. godine. Ovim dokumentom su date okvirne smjernice razvoja svih vidova transporta i komunikacija na području BiH do 2030 godine. Obzirom na svoju stratešku, privrednu i saobraćajnu poziciju u BiH područje SBK igra veoma značajnu ulogu u razmjeni, privrednih dobara, ljudi i komunikacija na teritiriji BiH pa i šire. Historijski značaj srednjobosanske regije u gradnji saobraćajnica za uvezivanje istoka i zapada Evrope još od vremena Otomanske vladavine pa preko AU monarhije ostavio je traga i određene resurse u kotlinama rijeka Lašve i Vrbasa koji se i sada na neki način koriste. Sve te zamisli, ideje i perspektive sada treba uklopiti u savremene potrebe i transportne tokove roba, ljudi i komunikacija. U skladu sa Strategijom transporta BiH treba razraditi regionalne i lokalne planove i pretočiti u validnu dokumentaciju koja će poslužiti investitorima.
